Bag Makers Introduces 6 New Products
January 1, 2013 - Bag Makers is pleased to announce the addition of 6 new items for 2013. Leading the way is our new Saratoga Tote,
a two-toned bag that’s perfect for events and excursions. The Saratoga sports exterior pockets and an interior accessory loop.
Also included in the new collections are our T-Pac, a t-shirt style bag that is the latest in our collection of polyester totes;

Bag Makers Expands Color Selections on 7 Hot Product Collections
January 1, 2013 - For 2013, we’re pleased to introduce expanded color selections on 7 of our best selling product collections.
Our Big & Little Thunder totes are now available in Cerise (Pink), Tropical Green and Brown; our Explorer Backpacks now offer
Navy; the Die Cut Series are now available in Lime, Burgundy, and Navy; our Celebration Series (excluding Ben) now offers Cerise
(Pink); the Therm-O-Tote is now available in Grape and Brown; our Gloss Eurototes (excluding Chablis) now offer Burgundy and Navy;
and our Ultimate Trade Show tote now comes in Khaki.
BAG MAKERS ACHIEVES QCA ACCREDITATION
The company joins 18 others that have met the rigorous qualifications to receive the promotional products industry’s only certification dedicated to product quality, product safety, supply chain security, social accountability and environmental stewardship.

The Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), the promotional product industry’s only independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping companies provide safe products, has awarded QCA Accreditation to Union, Illinois-based BAG MAKERS, Inc.
“BAG MAKERS is very proud to have earned QCA Accreditation and to be part of the QCA family of companies,” said Chuck Sandford, CAS, BAG MAKERS president. “The values of QCA—product safety, social compliance and environmental stewardship—are in line with our own values, and our commitment to them has been longstanding. They have been our own core business practices, and our QCA Accreditation is simply the natural next step in our evolution of differentiating ourselves in the marketplace.”
QCA Accredited companies endorse a self-certification, complete a rigorous self-assessment, and then submit their headquarters and their supply base to multiple third-party audits. The QCA board uses a scorecard representing the performance of the applicant and its supply chain on the third-party audits as the foundation for granting accreditation. BAG MAKERS joins the ranks of 18 other companies that have met the rigorous qualifications to achieve QCA Accreditation.

The Fold-Away is a roomy zippered sports bag that also folds neatly into its end gusset pocket. Also included in the new collections are our Cinch Tote, the latest in event tote design; Hang Around Bag; insulated Therm-O-Backpack; Portfolio Bag; Document Holder; laminated faux alligator Couture Bag; and two styles of waist bags called The Hipsters. Bag Makers Wins Gold Supplier Achievement Award at the PPAI Expo
January 4, 2012 - Bag Makers was awarded the Gold Supplier Achievement Award at the PPAI Expo. The award is given for excellence in imprinting and Bag Makers won gold in the category of Sublimation. It’s the 9th time the company has received this distinction.
Bag Makers Wins ASI Distributor Choice Award at the ASI Orlando Show
January 10, 2012 - At the recent ASI Orlando Show, Bag Makers was once again awarded the Distributor Choice Award in the category of Shopping Bags. The award is given based on annual ratings and a national vote by industry distributors. It’s the 10th year Bag Makers has earned this honor.
